Mustangs for Mustangs is a local community outreach program, centralized in Prosser, WA.

Mustangs for Mustangs is an emergency assistance organization with almost 5,000 Mustangs in 46 states and 9 countries. The organization addresses primary housing, primary transportation, medical need, utility assistance, and rental assistance along with personal safety issues for our fellow Mustangs and their families no matter where they may live.

Our network includes anyone who ever attended Prosser schools and anyone who lives in Prosser along with their immediate families.

Safety

It’s not easy to get out of an abusive situation, but we are here to help. A phone call or email to us is all it takes to get started. We’ve helped people get out of abusive relationships by providing plane tickets, a secure place to stay, and legal services.

Utility

Assistance

No one expects to fall behind on their bills, but unexpected circumstances can lead to past due and termination notifications. If you need help with paying your electric, utility, water, or heating bills, we have emergency assistance available.

Food

Security

Keeping food on the table and hungry mouths fed can be a challenge. Even those receiving government assistance may run out of food before the end of the month. Through the generosity of our Mustang family network, groceries can be at your doorstep in no time.

Transportation

When your primary mode of transportation breaks down, it seems like everything gets put on hold, and repairs can be expensive. Having spent part or all of your life in Prosser, you know the community and that the skills are there to help with your auto repairs.

When the fear of losing your residence is looming over your head, it’s hard to think of anything else. If you’re struggling to make ends meet and having trouble paying your rent or mortgage, we provide a program that offers emergency rent assistance or helps locate housing.

Medical Need

Medical issues can strike at any time and we’re not always prepared for the financial burden they can cause. Even with good insurance, your out-of-pocket expenses can be huge. We offer practical and meaningful support for extreme medical needs.

Mustangs for Mustangs We Are People Helping People

There are a number of ways you can participate in Mustangs for Mustangs no matter where you may live, including joining our Facebook group, being a part of our network, volunteering, and donating. Even when we ourselves can’t always help we often know someone who can. When a need arises, we put out the call via our Facebook page and ask, “Who’s close? Who can help?” Veterans, the elderly, and members of vulnerable populations are given priority assistance.
